You may lose up to five pounds the first week or two and that is alright because you have made drastic changes to your diet and exercise habits; but after the first two weeks try to stick with two to three pounds per week.

Another option you may want to consider is a good weight loss pill. If you go this route, just remember that there is no such thing as a miracle pill. You will have to watch your diet as well. But weight loss pills can help.
